International Teachers of Dance, Inc. is a non-profit organization for dance teachers and their students who wish to further their dance education. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, have two years teaching experience, and presently be a practicing teacher. Yearly membership dues are as follows:

$105.00 before January 31st.
$115.00 after January 31st.
$70.00 after July 1st.
$185.00 Family rate (Limit 2), $115.00 after July 31.
(Family rate applies for immediate family members teaching at the same studio location) (*Must be a member for 30 days before you can receive member rates.)

There are many benefits you shall receive upon acceptance and receipt of dues. Members receive a membership card and certificate, suitable for framing and displaying in your studio. Members also receive a free Internet listing, discount student and assistant teacher workshop fees and discount student competition entry fees. You may attend all workshops at NO Charge! ! You will also receive teacher and student class notes from guest teachers. A few of our guest teachers include Frank Hatchett, Lynda Gache, Charles Kelly, and Kira Guzikova, a former Russian ballerina. ITDI holds four workshop/competitions per year plus a FREE summer workshop for member teachers and their assistants only. At each workshop we conduct business meetings for the board of directors and members to discuss and vote on various topics concerning the organization and help with day to day studio life.

All observers must pay a $10 observation fee. No children under age 18 are permitted in the ballroom as an observer.
